Company History
Ultimedia was formed in 1995 as a contract development organisation by a group of experienced development professionals with wide ranging IT capabilities. In 2004 the company made the decision to refocus its efforts in the fast growing area of content managed websites especially where complex back office processing was required. Selecting the right Content Management System was paramount and, after a period of in-depth research, EPiServer CMS was chosen. Since then EPiServer has become the fastest growing CMS in Europe with over 3000 customers worldwide and nearly 10,000 websites. Ultimedia was the first EPiServer partner in the UK and today hosts a number of award winning sites.
In 2006 Ultimedia embarked on the development of Ultilearn, its E Learning system partly in response to customer demand. After extensive testing at three beta sites the resultant 'bulletproof' system has enjoyed success with a number of high profile clients throughout Europe and Asia.
Following Ultilearn the company developed Ultiperform, a talent management system designed to interface seamlessly with Ultilearn and EPiServer to deliver a whole spectrum of HR solutions.
Alongside these activities the company continued developing and delivering custom IT systems for a wide range of clients as well as providing consulting and technical support services for other EPiServer partners.
In this period of renewal Ultimedia is proud of the fact that it has grown 5 fold whilst doubling turnover and profitability for three consecutive years.
