Spire Healthcare project

Ioko requested the development of Spire Healthcare customised forms, intranet and website

Ioko, an IT services company specialising in technical consultancy, systems integration, application development and managed services, requested Ultimedia to cover additional requirements to develop customised forms for Spire Healthcare, the private hospital providers in the UK (formally BUPA Hospitals’ web site, in addition to developing Spires Intranet and Website.

Ioko wanted the site to perform certain functions such as, they wanted to move from EPiServer forms to custom forms in order to enable form data to be delivered to one of 25 email boxes, with a back-up copy delivered to a central mailbox.

They also wanted the choice of email destination to be customer driven, following a database search to offer the nearest hospital to a patient’s postcode.

In addition they wanted the details of the hospital to which the enquiry has been sent to appear in the on-screen acknowledgement message, and in the personalised acknowledgement message.

And finally to use the customised form above to reinstate validations and other features that had been in place on BUPA Hospitals forms, but had been dropped because they were not possible using EPiServer standard forms. This includes reinstating (3 versions) of an automated and personalised acknowledgement email to be sent to enquirers who have given an email address.

To develop Spire's intranet and website, Ultimedia used an EPiServer Content Management System (CMS) platform to meet Spires' needs.
